Anyone else's toddler sleep horribly on vacation? You would think that all the fresh air and activity would have Mr. Calan zonked out every night and sleeping in every morning, but not so much.
My son is taking forever to fall asleep and is waking up in the middle of the night as well as supper early.
This horrible sleeping is killing me and aggravating me to no end.
His body rocking and singing is so horrible right now that I am considering having him fit for a straight jacket.
Nothing I do seems to be helping. I ignore him and he continues. I tell him to stop and he continues. I tell him to go to sleep and he sits up and rocks. I yell and he laughs. It is all driving me bonkers!
On a plus side, he is napping well and is not acting too cranky. He is in good spirits for the most part. I wish I could say the same for me. Each morning when I hear him at 5:30 a.m and the sun is not up, I have to do everything in my power to stay calm.
I, of course, don't want him bothering my parents, I can only ignore him for so long each morning.
The problem is that he is so loud singing and rocking. Maisie sleeps through most of it, but anyone else with ears can't ignore it.
Bob is finally heading up tonight. Hopefully him being here helps the situation. If not, I am sleeping with earplugs and a pillow over my head and will let Bob deal with it.
