Where is all the information?

I am having a really hard time trying to find information about raising children close together. There is a lot of information about raising twins and raising siblings, but very little information about raising children close in age. Does anyone have a good book they can recommend or a blog I can reference?

Introducing a newborn to a 1-year-old is not the same as introducing to a 2-year-old. I am not sure how to prepare Calan. I don't want it to seem like one day there was just this baby here and he now has to deal. There has to be something I can do to help him.

The lack of information is one of the reasons I decided to do this blog. I love learning from others, but it doesn't seem like there are others to learn from. I know that there are women out there with children close in age. I know we exist, but for some reason no one wants to really share their tips and tricks. What I have found says just how hard the first years were, but how great it has been as the kids got older. Well, I don't think the first years have to be horrible. I think that there has to be some good ideas out there to make life easier and functioning.

I am lucky though. There are moms in our family who have done this and will hopefully be able to give wise information. My sisters are a year and 9 days apart and Bob is a year and 2 weeks older than his brother. My mom and Bob's mom have done the before. They will be a great resource and help for us. That makes me feel a little less anxious about the situation.

There is probably tons of information out there, but for some reason, I just can't seem to find it. I will keep looking and let you know what I learn along the way.
