I love it when we get to have some spur-of-the-moment, quality family time. Bob was waiting on a few things at work and realized that he could take off early, so we took the kids and our dog out to a local cider mill for cider, doughnuts, and pumpkins. It was great. Unlike the weekends, which are packed, there was only a handful of people. Plenty of room for some quality family time.

Biggest bite ever. He loved his first cider and doughnuts. |

Best picture I got of the three of us. |
 |
He of course tried to pick up the heaviest
pumpkin he saw. |
 |
And then he thought the hay and
leaves were more interesting. |
 |
Maisie was a good sport. |
 |
Calan had to hold the pumpkin on our
way home. |
Now, I can't wait to carve our pumpkins this weekend.
