All you have to do is take colored paper (we used green card-stock) and water and go to town.
He used a paint brush, his fingers, and an ice cube to paint. You can also use sponges or basically anything that will streak water.
Calan loved it and I loved the clean up or lack there of.
Today I was working on colors and specifically green so we used green paper. Here are some other things that I did today to reinforce the color green with Calan:
- We all (even Maisie) are dressed in green
- We have been singing "The Little Green Frog" (a favorite of mine from my camp counseling days.)
- I gathered up a bunch of his toys that were green (blocks, stuffed animals, books, etc.) and we put them in and out of a green bag.
- Tonight, broccolli is on the dinner menu.
